Chapter 2

It would be 6 years before Elerson would see Le’Bennie again. Elerson had grown in many ways. Her hair was wavy and long it went down in the middle of her back and she was about 5ft and 11 inches now and her eyes that were once shining with happiness turned dark and hidden her feelings. Alan, her step-brother, taught her how to fight just like Le’Bennie said. She favored the arrows but was going to learn how to fight with everything. Elerson was still learning how to write and read but spent most of her time day sitting with her mother. Every night where Elerson went to sleep she saw the man’s face that killed her mother. Her mother’s grave was covered with flowers everyday it seemed as a new flower pooped up. “Elerson! Get up! Are we going to work out? Mom said we are going into town today.” Alan said in Elerson’s doorway. “Alright.” Elerson said grumpy, she wasn’t sleeping very well since her mother died she dreamed about that moment everyday. They usually ran first then fought with sticks and not swords in account of hurting each other; with sticks they hurt each other too but not as much. Then they practiced aiming. By when they are done all Elerson wants to sit with her mother.

After training Elerson had to call it a day because they were going to town. Elerson disliked going, everyone there had regular eyes but she was the only one with purple eyes, people would stare at her for not wearing a dress which all the other girls did. And she wasn’t as proper and she only knew two people in the village she didn’t live with which was her best friends, Megan, which she was a mistreated elf. Megan’s parents (real) disappeared and Megan was treated without respect and lived with a horrible family. The other person she knew was Alan’s girlfriend, but Elerson hated her. Her name was Corin she was really stuck up and rude to everyone below her.

Walking into town a young, looked about 15 years old with long blond hair with some red, light red, hair that was straight, she was average for being 15 years old with big dark brown eyes, she also had pointed ears. When she reached them she bowed down and Elerson did the same. Elerson’s step-mother and Alan walked on. “Ellie!” The girl and greeted her with a big hug. “Megan.” Elerson said returning the hug. “It’s been to long.” Megan said. “It’s has been hasn’t it.” Elerson said with a smile. “Come on, we must talk. It’s been a whole season since I last seen you.” Megan said. It was summer, and the air was fresh. “Ellie.” Megan began to say then stopped. “What is it?” Elerson asked worried. “I saw the man’s face he is coming. I could see it.” Megan said quietly scared. Only Elerson knew about Megan’s foreseeing powers. All elves had that power, and other powers that she had developed yet. Elerson had gone cold her eyes turned hard. Knowing that look Megan began to talk before Elerson, “We have to leave.” Megan said taking Elerson’s arm. “Elerson!” Megan said a little loud. Megan saw how Elerson hands clutched into a theist. Megan pulled Elerson over into the edge of the forest so no one could hear them. “I have to stay; I’m going to kill him!” Elerson exclaimed. “Elerson, you and I can’t beat him. You’re not as strong as you may think. Elerson he isn’t like every other man he is a Leson. We can stay and fight but we would lose.” Megan said trying to reason with Elerson.

Leson’s were a dieing race but out of all other races they were third most feared. First were Belsons, second fully grown elves, and then Lesons. Lesons had more power then 50 men but they had the speed of a half grown elf. They weren’t the easiest to tell from a man; they look just like most men. There was two things that sat them apart from men they usually had yellow eyes, it was rare for one not to and an odd thing they sometimes had a birthmark of a triangle; it is small but almost impossible to find it.

Elerson stared at nothing and yet looked deep in thought. “Elerson.” Megan’s voice faded when Elerson heard another voice in her head. “Elerson.” The voice echoed in her head. The voice was soft and caring; it was wise and made Elerson feel safe. “Come to me.” The voice said. Elerson began to head back home and took Megan with her. Elerson knew she couldn’t leave Megan there to live life like she was and let the Leson make her tell him what she knew about Elerson. “Elerson where are we going?! Elerson you’re going to get in trouble.” Megan said trying to pull away. Elerson didn’t answer her but still walked on holding onto Megan.

Megan didn’t have parents, she had owners. Years back when Megan was two, her real parents were killed and men came across Megan and took her in. When she was old enough, 4 years old, she was sold to the family she lives with now. The family treated Megan really bad and she wasn’t allowed to leave the village or she would be beaten. Once when Elerson was 9 years old and came to town with her mother she ran into her they were friends just like that. Megan had always dreamed of living with her people, but she never tried to leave the village. Megan dreamed to leave as soon as she was old enough to use magic just to scare her family.

Megan got nervous when they walked on the path to Elerson’s house. “I want to go back.” Megan said. “We’re ever going back.” Elerson said sadly. Megan said nothing else. When they got the forest where Elerson use to run into so anxiously when she was younger, Megan knew that something was going to happen. “Elerson is it safe in there?” Megan asked. Then Elerson knew where she was going and why. She had dreamed of this day when she was younger then her dreams turned into nothing. “She is calling me, finally.” Elerson said sounding like she did 5 years ago. “Who?” Megan asked but then she saw her answer. “Elerson that’s a unicorn. Two at that.” Megan said under her breath. “Well, of all races. I thought you would know!” One said in her mind that echoed through all there minds. “Alanergon! She is not of other elves leave her be. Sorry, Sonya, he means well.” Le’Bennie said. “Who is Sonya?” Elerson and Megan asked at the same time. Le’Bennie laughed at little and pointed her long horn at Megan. “It is you.” Le’Bennie said. “My name is Megan, not Sonya.” She said. “No that is your human name. Now no more talk from you two. I must explain.” Le’Bennie said firmly.

“First there are some things I cannot tell you, so don’t ask. There are many dangers that await you but you most come through. Sonya you may not have to go all the way with Elerson. Elerson your journey goes on after the elves. Elerson your journey is bigger than Sonya’s, yet Sonya yours is big to. Make no mistake about that. I leave you with this information, now go collect things you need, weapons, food, and some clothes, not to much we may be strong but we need to travel fast lighter weight will help. Hurry back the wind is changing, I can feel evil coming. If anything happens call us through your mind but be careful.” Le’Bennie said strongly. Le’Bennie knew that Sonya couldn’t stay in this village even though she knew Sonya would go anywhere with Elerson not fearing anything.

Elerson and Sonya ran back home. Sonya was lucky Elerson had two of almost everything. One set was her mothers and the others were Elerson for when she was older like now. Sonya took Elerson’s set knowing she would want her mothers. Sonya favored the swords but she wanted both instead of one but she would just live with the one for now. “Elerson, I’m scared, I feel an evil presences near.” Sonya whispered. Elerson didn’t answer. “Elerson this isn’t a joke. I really feel something evil out there.” Sonya said pulling Elerson around. She saw that Elerson had tears running down her face. “What is it?” Sonya asked quietly. “It’s that I have never left my mom. I’ve never been apart from her.” Elerson said looking hurt at her mother’s grave. “Elerson you will never be apart from her she is inside you. As long as you believe in her she will also be with you.” Sonya said hugging Elerson hoping it would cheer her up a bit. “Very, touching. I must say that is the sweetest thing I’ve ever heard before.” Someone said from the doorway. It was a man’s voice, it was deep and hollow. He laughed at his comment. “Besides, you are going to be far from your mother, soon enough.” He laughed. Elerson and Sonya looked up. Through her blurred vision Elerson saw a face that filled her nightmares.

Elerson stared at the face that haunted her for 5 years. She had dreamed about him, she saw him when she blinked she saw him everywhere. “Well, how great I thought it would bring back one prize. King Worrion will be happy about this. You and an elf, half grown at that.” The scared face man said. Sonya backed up to a wall, Elerson just stood where she was, and her blood went cold. “Is it is Sonya? Well men you get her she should be easy, leave Elerson for me.” The Leson said smiling. Sonya looked around for a way out. Elerson was confused how he knew there names but she didn’t want to worry about that right then. Next thing she saw was a sword coming at her. Elerson didn’t know how but she took her mother’s sword and blocked him. “Good, good.” He said as if this was a test. “You know hot to just a sword.” He said after that. But he wasn’t even looking at her but Sonya.

Elerson’s arm began to shake and lose all feelings; she couldn’t hold him back he was way to powerful. Sonya was trying to run but a man caught her. “Elerson! Help me!” Sonya called out. “Elerson help me please!” Sonya’s voice echoed. “Help her Elerson.” The man said mocking her. He loosened his hold on Elerson a little. “Le’Bennie! Help!” Elerson called through her mind. The Leson lifted his strong sword off of Elerson’s. She began to run to Sonya, but something was holding her back, the Leson had grabbed her and wouldn’t let go. He pulled her close to him so if she tried to move it would have been pointless. “Take her out. NOW!” The Leson commanded. “You two are going to have fun at your new home.” He laughed. Three men held Sonya, while may the Leson held Elerson.

Being dragged outside Sonya felt something grow inside her. She murmured, Aspen monea!” Then within second all the men fell to the ground besides the Leson. “Sonya! Run!” Elerson said shocked at what she saw. Sonya was breathing hard and she took her sword with strength she never knew she had. The Leson threw Elerson down and took out his sword. When Sonya and the Leson fought and hit swords and both of them flew back they hit with the same force. Sonya face was emotionless and the Leson’s was broke into a smile. “Elerson run!” Sonya said her voice though was different it sounded if as she was an adult. “Bougt stie!” Sonya yelled suddenly it was bright to bright Elerson couldn’t see. Someone grabbed her and started running. They ran into the forest and the light began to fade. “Elerson, I’m scared, what happened?” Sonya said. “I don’t know but we have to go!” Elerson said and looking back one last time at her home and ran away.

When they reached the unicorns they explained quickly then the unicorns told them to get on them, fast. “But, how did I do that. I don’t feel that power from before. But when I felt it like I was whole. I felt completely different.” Sonya said to Elerson. “Elerson, Sonya talk through your minds there are many creatures in this forest that would give anything to be protected from the king and would tell him where you are. It is bad enough you smell of humans.” Le’Bennie said through her mind. Holding on tight Elerson answered quickly through her mind, “Okay.” No more was said Elerson and Sonya worried about not falling off and the new journey they were going into so blindly. There legs were tight around there bodies while here hands were tightly holding there long manes. “Elerson, I never felt so scared.” Sonya said through her mind and found it was easy. Elerson didn’t answer she just stared at the new parts of the forest she have never seen before.

I LOVED IT.
I'm not just saying that either.
It was really good!! The action scenes were great, and Sonya's whole kick butt mode stuff was GREAT.
The only little thing that I would change was stuff like explaining how the dude got to the door. It made a SWEET battle scene and all that but where did he come from? That's the only thing that people are going to be wondering.
Other then that it was TOTALLY SWEET. : D
