so the guy i like,
well i have known there were other girls that liked him
but none of them were going to do anything
so i was thinking this girl that is sort of a friend
that she liked him for awhile she didn't
now she does, and she actually talks with him
and i mean i might actually have a chance with his kid if i talked to him
but that doesn't matter anymore
getting down to the point she is asking him to homecoming
i don't know what to say now,
what is there to say when you are totally numb
or just trying to make yourself feel numb,
NUMB it is a word that doesn't mean much
as a feeling it is like you just given up caring even
though your mind or heart, i am not sure yet
is telling you to care, to cry, to feel again

Take that little fill-in-the-blank down. Ask this dude tomorrow. Look totally amazing, then walk up to him with unmistakable confidence.
And come right out and ask him to the dance. But don't be rude or anything. Be yourself.
I'm sure that you can do it if your mind is set on it.
You totally have a chance to be with him.

lol, i am not going to do that because one: i have barely talked to the kid, two: i still have to tell you that part in the e-mail thirdly: i would choke, literally on my on words... but i wish i could
OMG that's so terrible! i agree with ink! just ask him, what do you have to lose? so he knows you kind of like him, is that really so bad? i'll answer that one; NO it's not! i know you don't think you can do it but i KNOW you CAN!

and thanks another face in the crowd, that is what i wanted to do but if the girl that is going to ask him is going to do it soon it won't matter
*giggle* i'm sorry, really, it's just that for like half a second you sounded exactly like my friend. she's like THE shyest person on the face of this earth. well not so much shy, just afraid of people she doesnt know or that she likes. today she was totally awsome though!
i've been teasing her about this sevy (who brother's a totally hot freshman (although he's pretty hot himself))being taller than her so today she just walks up to him and, while we're 'torturing' her (teasing her really), just goes 'how tall are you?' (that's me paraphrasing just a bit but it sounded a lot like that) he got all confused and embaressed *giggle*
it was awsome!
i've never seen her like that, i probably never will again, but for just like 2 minutes she just put every other thought out of her head and just said what she needed to.
i understand that that is no where near as awkward as this could be if you ask, but it was totally uncharacteristic of her and she did it anyways! *sighs happliy* sorry, i was really proud of her.

No, I think it will matter, he will feel much more comfortable around you if he knows you more. But I do understand what you're saying, and that is also true.
That sounds like a good idea! I think it would be less awkward if you asked him to come with your group.
